Nigerian Journalist and On-Air-Presenter, Enoh Egbevire is celebrating her 8 year on Rivers State based radio station, Nigeria Info Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Miss Egbevire took to her social media page to share her amazing journey with the station which she joined in 2013. According to her, she resumed without having any plan, apart from to work.
She has hosted many shows in the station which include: "Morning Cross Fire", "Rise to Wisdom", "I Am Rivers," among others.
Celebrating her 8 years on Nigeria Info Port Harcourt, Enoh Egbevire, who has won many awards and recognitions to her name wrote on her Facebook page:
"It’s my 8years on Nigeria Info Port Harcourt.
"Let’s keep making magic.
"August 2013. I resumed at Nigeria Info PH news department.
"I didn’t have a plan
"Except to do great work.
"And also I knew what I didn’t want.
"And I think that’s a necessary ingredient for Growth.
"So when I moved to Programs, there was some adjustments to do. Because this was a TALK station, but I loved a challenge and o! The audience.
"That’s why I couldn’t stop saying Travel and See.
"I believe that’s what has kept many people where they are.
"They stubbornly want to keep using what they know and saying it’s all there is to know.
"There was a lot of learning to do.
"Changes to make.
"Painful sometimes.
"Telling myself truths.
"Winning some and having to let many go. Learning to chose my fight. Learning.
"The greater importance of knowing no one owes you a thing and doing what is required to move your life forward-
"And keeping at it when you fail. Knowing that failure isn’t the end of a thing but a curve . A learning curve.
"The power of people.
"I think it was Sam Adeyemi I heard that from first. That you are 3 persons away from the person you want to meet
"And I’ve met People the good, the bad and the ugly.
"At the same time I realized some people would choose to see the bad and ugly about someone and focus on them,reminding one of them until one begins to believe the worst about himself.
"I was bad and ugly sometimes too. But anytime I saw what I didn’t like in the mirror, I started looking for a wipe to remove it.
"Sometimes it doesn’t and I have to wash with soap and water.
"Don’t forget soap can enter ones eyes and bring tears. And it did too. But look at me now, a billion shades of awesomeness and more.
"I want to thank my employers for allowing me spread my wings.
"I want to thank my amazing colleagues, and all those who make it easy to be a Queen.
"And to my firebrands, keep the fire burning as no one else would do it for you."
Enoh Egbevire has also worked as Grace FM and City 105.1 FM Lagos before joining the Nigeria Info FM Port Harcourt.
